One item of note is that countries trying to produce weapons material build specialized production reactors and do not use power reactor designs (i.e., no one uses a PWR or BWR to make weapons material).

I wonder if it was bombed by the Israelis because they knew what kind of facility Syria is building, because it seems as they were just in time to stop it. Hopefully no fuel was located in the building by the time of bombing.
